BIO:

Vanessa Gauvin, a captivating singer/songwriter from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, has been sharing her music since 2016. Her debut EP Devil Man (2018) was recorded with Aspen Beveridge at Skullcreek Studios in a formerly abandoned school in Piapot, SK. ‘Devil man’ explores themes of relationships, personal growth, and a deep connection to the land. With a soulful voice and distinctive sound, Vanessa transports listeners to a bygone era, evoking the spirit of a past life and leaving an enduring impact.

 

In 2021, Vanessa and Camp Shagabec of Cypress Hills interprovincial park were partner recipients of an SKARTS Artist in Communities grant to provide music education and activities to engage youth campers from rural southwest Saskatchewan communities.

Vanessa Gauvin's artistic journey is multifaceted. Through her authentic songwriting, performances and dedication to various artistic mediums, she leaves a lasting impression while continuously expanding her creative horizons and valuing opportunities for community engagement.

Vanessa been performing since 2016.
